A Carnegie Library serving the Pittsfield, Burnham, and Detroit communities
Spend some time with Maine State Museum educators at the Pittsfield Public Library during February school vacation! The All About Birds! program will be held on Friday Feb. 23, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. This free family event is jam packed with hands-on activities inspired by our feathered friends. We will build nests, match beaks, fold origami, and more!
Designed for kids K-12, parental supervision required for K-Grade 4. No registration required. You can fly in at any point and rotate through the activities.
The Maine State Museum seeks to share what is meaningful about Maine and its place in the world, in order to inspire people to discover Maine’s past, understand its present, and imagine its future. The Museum, located in Augusta, is currently closed for massive building repairs.
