Fun STEM Time Celebrates National Trivia Day!

Come join Mr. Wes as he celebrates National Trivia Day – ask all the questions and get all the answers!  Can you stump Mr. Wes?  Here’s a trivia question for you – why do we call trivia, trivia?

The Latin word trivium means “where three roads join”, and ultimately, the word trivialis, meaning “commonplace” developed from the original word.  Our word trivia is derived from this meaning – things that should be commonly known. The best trivia questions stump the listener, but make sense – and often seem very familiar! – when they are finally answered.
